Monday Morning Music 10

Hello.

I hope you’ve had a good week and all your loved ones are fit and healthy.

You don’t need any equipment today as there is a tickle song instead of a peekaboo song. All of today’s songs are shown standing up, but some songs can be adapted for sitting down if you prefer.

If you have any comments or photos you’d like to share with me, I’d be delighted to receive them.

I hope you enjoy today’s video. Next week’s video will be available next Monday. I’ll post on Facebook, Instagram (maxwellminimusic) and Twitter (@maxwell_mini) once the new blog is on the website.

Have a good week, take care and keep singing.

Hello.

I hope you’ve had a good week and you’re making the most of the September sunshine.

For today’s video you will again need a scarf for the peekaboo song and older children may want to rock their favourite cuddly toy (or sibling) during the lullaby. Although the majority of today’s songs are again done standing up, they can easily be adapted for babes in arms if it is easier to sit down and give your arms a rest.

I hope you enjoy today’s video. Any recent photos or comments would be wonderful as they bring extra smiles to my day. The next Monday Morning Music video will be posted next week and I’ll also post on Facebook, Instagram (maxwellminimusic) and Twitter (@maxwell_mini) once it’s on the website.

Have a good week, take care and keep singing.

Hello.

I hope you’ve had a good week and your nearest and dearest are all well.

The only prop you need today is a scarf for the peekaboo song and it would also be fun for the dance, but it isn’t essential. Although most of today’s songs are shown standing up, some songs can be adapted for sitting down if you prefer.

I hope you enjoy today’s video. If you have any comments or photos you’d like to share with me, I’d be delighted to receive them. Next week’s video will be posted next Monday and I’ll also post on Facebook, Instagram (maxwellminimusic) and Twitter (@maxwell_mini) once it’s on the website.

Hello.

I hope you’ve had a good week and you’re coping with the heat on this glorious Bank Holiday Monday! If only!! Oh well, at least it’s dry!

Hello.

I hope you’ve had a good week and it wasn’t too hot for you. Personally, I’m delighted it’s cooler but it would still be nice to still see the sun.

For today’s video a scarf would be fun for the dance but isn’t essential. Although today’s songs are shown standing up, some songs can be adapted for sitting down if you prefer.

This week I received this lovely message: “We are really enjoying the longer format and do a video most mornings as soon as we get up.  Dylan loves the peekaboo song (little baby is his favourite!) and the lullabies.  He has been singing the peekaboo songs to Ayla which is wonderful to watch. I think you are really contributing to the musical education of both our children, Ayla recognises many songs now and this morning Dylan paused the video to play the Jack In The Box tune on the piano, and the other day I heard him playing Roly Poly on his glockenspiel while singing along!”

If you have any comments or photos you’d like to share with me, I’d be delighted to receive them.

Note to self: try not to fall over on the next video! Can you spot where I nearly took a tumble? I considered recording the video, but thought it’d provide you with some extra entertainment!

I hope you enjoy today’s video. Next week’s video will be posted next Monday and I’ll also post on Facebook, Instagram (maxwellminimusic) and Twitter (@maxwell_mini) once it’s on the website.

Have a good week, take care and keep singing.

Hello.

I hope you’ve had a good week and you’re grabbing the sunshine whenever it appears.

I hope you enjoyed the different format of last Monday’s video. Today’s video follows the same pattern and you will again need a scarf, this time for the peekaboo song and a dance. Plus, as there is a lullaby, older children may want to rock their favourite cuddly toy, or sibling. Although the majority of today’s songs are again done standing up, most can easily be adapted for tiny babes in arms if it is easier to sit down and give your arms a rest. I also want to apologise, as it’s very gloomy outside this morning so the lighting on the video is not as I’d like it to be – but I’ve done the best I can!

I hope you enjoy today’s video. I’d love to hear how your little ones enjoy this different format. Any recent photos would also be wonderful as they would bring some sunshine to this wet Monday! The third Monday Morning Music video will be posted next Monday and I’ll also post on Instagram (maxwellminimusic) and Twitter (@maxwell_mini) once it’s on the website.

Have a good week, take care and keep singing.

Monday Morning Music 1

Hello.

After my short break, my videos are now resuming but in a slightly different format. I plan on releasing a new weekly blog on Monday mornings. The intention is to include a variety of songs and rhymes each week, covering different areas including fingerplay, movement, dancing, peekaboo and lullaby. Although the majority of today’s songs are done standing up, most can easily be adapted for tiny babes in arms if it is easier to sit down and give you arms a rest.

Today’s video includes one peekaboo song, so a scarf will be useful and as there is a lullaby, older children may want to rock their favourite cuddly toy.

After my final Lockdown video I received a few lovely messages including this one: “Just a quick note to say thank you so much for the lockdown videos you have provided over the last few months.  My son Dylan (3) and my daughter Ayla (now almost 5 months) have really enjoyed them.  Ayla now recognises the welcome song and the goodbye song and her face lights up when she hears them!  Dylan looks forward to doing them and always asks for more! I am only sorry that we live in Somerset so won’t be able to join in with live classes when they begin again.”

I hope you enjoy today’s video. I’d love to hear how your little ones enjoy this new format. Any recent photos would also be wonderful as they brighten up my days. The next video will be posted next Monday and I’ll also post on Instagram (maxwellminimusic) and Twitter (@maxwell_mini) once the new video is on the website.

Have a good week, take care and keep singing.
