Monday Morning Music 46

Hello

I hope you’ve had a good week and you’re ready for some music making.

For today’s video you don’t need any props but your little ones may want to rock and bounce a cuddly toy or sibling during the lullaby and knee-bobbing songs.

I mentioned last week that today’s video is the last regular one for a while as my first classes in my new venue, are starting on Tuesday 6th July.

Places are still available and bookings can be made on:

https://maxwellminimusic.class4kids.co.uk

I’m hoping that many of you will be able to join me for these classes and we will be able to make music together. In the same room. How exciting!

As these regular videos are drawing to a close, I’d love to receive any photos or comments about how your children have responded to these videos. When I post any new video is on the website, I’ll also post on Instagram (maxwellminimusic), Twitter (@maxwell_mini) and Facebook.

Until we ‘meet’ again, have a fun and keep singing.

Hello

I hope you’ve had a good week and you’re ready for some music making.

For today’s video you will need a scarf for the peekaboo song and your little ones may want to rock and bounce a cuddly toy or sibling during the lullaby and knee-bobbing songs.

In the last few days I made the announcement that my first classes in my new venue, at the home of Bromley Youth Music Trust, will be starting on Tuesday 6th July.

I am now taking bookings on:

Next week will be the last regular Monday for a few weeks. As these regular videos are drawing to a close, I’d love to receive any photos or comments about how your children have responded to these videos. I hope you enjoy this week’s blog. Once the new video is on the website, I’ll also post on Instagram (maxwellminimusic), Twitter (@maxwell_mini) and Facebook. Jimmy and friends look forward to seeing you then.

Have a fun, musical week and keep singing.

Booking now open for classes

I’m delighted to announce that bookings are now available for the first Maxwell Mini Music classes at Bromley Youth Music Trust.

Details of the individual classes are as follows:

Babies 0 – 18 months

An opportunity for parents and carers to learn new songs for sharing with baby, to enhance bonding and personal development.

Bobblers 18-36 months

For young children who have found their feet and are becoming more mobile. This class develops ideas and activities with familiar and new songs.

Jumplings 36 months+

These classes develop the ideas and skills from Babies and Bobblers groups and also devote time to music providing opportunities to develop fine motor skills and the children’s singing voices.

This first ‘post-Lockdown’ term is just a 3 session, pre-summer block, starting on Tuesday 6th July.

Hello

I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine and you’re ready for some music making.

For today’s video, all you need is a cuddly toy or someone to cuddle during the lullaby and knee-bobbing songs.

If you missed my announcement yesterday, I am delighted to announce that after discussions with Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT), Maxwell Mini Music is now part of the Bromley Music Hub (BMH) partnership. We will be working together to develop the important area of Early Years music provision within the Bromley area. As part of this partnership, when face-to-face classes resume on Tuesday 6th July, they will be held at the BYMT site in Southborough Lane. Full details of these classes and how to book will be available very soon.

I’d be delighted to receive any photos or comments about how your children are responding to these videos. I hope you enjoy this week’s blog. The next one will be posted next Monday and once the new video is on the website, I’ll also post on Instagram (maxwellminimusic), Twitter (@maxwell_mini) and Facebook. Jemima and friends look forward to seeing you then.
